Position Title: Bartender
Location: Grand Millennium Hotel, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
The role of the Bartender plays a central part in the hotel’s F\&B operations. The selected individual will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining hygiene standards, and offering a welcoming atmosphere to all guests visiting the bar or lounge areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the bar area, tools, and equipment are consistently kept clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
* Adhere strictly to health regulations and hygiene protocols to uphold food safety standards at all times.
* Consistently follow established food safety protocols and hygiene regulations to maintain a clean, sanitary, and legally compliant working environment.
* Offer suggestions to guests on drink selections and pairings.
* Monitor stock levels and communicate any requirements to the supervisor.
* Accurately process payments using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system while maintaining accountability and precision in all financial transactions.
* Deliver a high level of customer service by engaging with guests in a respectful, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
Candidate Requirements
Ideal candidates for the Bartender position should demonstrate:
* Strong beverage knowledge, particularly in cocktails, wines, and premium spirits.
* Hands-on experience in a similar role within a hotel, restaurant, or bar setting.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially in English.
* Professional appearance and behavior, maintaining composure under pressure.
* Adaptability to shift-based schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to the F\&B industry.
Applicants must exhibit a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in delivering superior guest service. Prior work experience in the UAE or other international hospitality markets is considered an advantage.
